About the role

We are currently recruiting for a passionate Gardner and General Hand Person to join our Belrose Country Club Retirement Village on a full time basis. In this role, you will be an integral part of our friendly team that aims to provide residents with the highest quality of service. You will report directly to the Maintenance and Gardening Supervisor and actively assist in providing gardening and maintenance services across the village. This will include:

  • Maintaining the gardens and grounds to a high professional standard including turf management, pest control and monitoring irrigation systems
  • Attending to all reactive and preventative maintenance requests across the village
  • Constructing and renovating new or existing small landscaping jobs
  • Monitoring a safe workplace and reporting any OH&S issues identified
  • Interacting with our village staff and residents with a professional and courteous manner

About you

You will be a team player who is dedicated, passionate and takes pride in your work. You will have sound knowledge of gardening and landscaping with demonstrated experience working in a similar maintenance style role. You will ideally have a Trade Qualification and must have a current First Aid and CPR certificate and National Police Check. Bring your friendly, can do attitude and emphatic understanding for aged persons to this dynamic role.
