About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly and experienced Cleaner to join our Central Coast Home Care team, This role is an integral part of developing RetireAustralia to become one of the leaders in the industry, placing our residents at the centre of everything we do.  You will be part of a brand new team preparing the facility for opening and building this new community to exceed all resident expectations.

The main duties will include:

  • Providing cleaning duties in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service
  • Maintaining privacy and confidentiality as per policies and procedures
  • Monitoring conflicting priorities and expectations
  • Contributing effectively and working within the team
  • Reporting and recording any maintenance problems in both the residents apartments and common areas
  • Assisting within other areas as required e.g. laundry
  • Carrying out Personal Care cleaning within resident apartments on behalf of RA Homecare
  • Participating in spot check quality audits with the Village Manager

About you

You will have strong experience in a similar domestic or commercial cleaning role and above all you will be passionate about the retirement industry and contributing to the lives of others. You must be proactive, flexible and have strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people. To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A valid National Police Check
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A current CPR
  • Clean, neat and tidy presentation
