About the role

 

We are currently recruiting for a driven and customer service focused Administration Assistant to work at our Newling Gardens Retirement village on a part time contract basis. In this role, you will be an integral part of our friendly team that aims to provide our residents with the highest quality of service. You will report directly to the Village Manager and will actively be involved in:

 

  • General administration such as mail, typing, filing, scanning, faxing, upkeep of records in relevant systems;
  • Greet all visitors and notify staff of the arrival of appointments, ensuring all visitors experience a corporate and professional environment;
  • Assisting with general or sales enquiries and requests from residents and visitors;
  • Answering calls, directing incoming calls, taking detailed messages and delivering to staff in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate stock ordering for stationery, office and kitchen supplies;
  • Processing and receipting of payments for residents;
  • Entering payments into Navision
  • Petty cash management and banking where required;
  • Maintaining service provider and contractor information;
  • Taking bookings for village activities, maintaining records of payments; and
  • Ensure the reception area, meeting rooms, bathroom, kitchen and common areas are kept clean, neat, tidy and professional at all times; and
  • Maintaining a duty of care for all employees, visitors and residents by following company Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times; 

 

About you

You will be a team player but also self-motivated with sound experience in a similar administration or reception role (Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration advantageous). You will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills with a well presented, cheerful and positive disposition. Above all, you must have a passion for the Retirement Industry. You must be hold a current Police Check within 6 months of issue date.
