About the Role

We are looking for a committed and passionate Administration Assistant to join us in our Home Care team based in South Australia on a permanent part-time basis. RetireAustralia provides home care services in selected villages, giving our residents the independence and choice of services to suit their individual needs. We have a strong philosophy of enabling our residents to lead positive and independent lives. This role will cover the administrative tasks to support and oversee Government funded Home Care and any privately funded care.

Reporting through to the Regional Care Manager, you will also be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and families;
  • Booking appointments for Regional Care Manager and Care Manager;
  • Assembling home care package (HCP) information packs;
  • Monitoring and maintaining competency status for Personal Carers (e.g. drivers licence renewals, First Aid certificates, essential training competencies, etc.);
  • Prepare agenda, take minutes and distribute for Monthly Care and Quality meetings;
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

About you

You will be someone that is willing to embrace change and looking for an opportunity to grow with an organisation. Success in this position will be providing our residents and team with a high quality of service and attention to detail. Previous experience in a receptionist or office administration role within Aged or Community Care will be highly desirable. A Cert III or Diploma in Business Administration is advantageous.
